The Buy Local Be Sustainable is a new initiative developed to promote sustainability in both the local region and local businesses. The Three Tuns is proud to be a part of this initiative and is keen to work with other members to keep the area as an area of outstanding natural beauty as well as support like minded local businesses.
The Shropshire Hills AONB Partnership exists to conserve and sustain the special landscape of the Shropshire Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Traditional farming has shaped this landscape and is vital to maintaining it, which is why we are committed to supporting and promoting the local food and drink sector and other local products. The Shropshire Hills is mainly a livestock area with a rich heritage in meat production and Ludlow has an unrivalled reputation as a centre for local produce. The area is also developing a strong creative sector, with wood, crafts and a wide variety of non-food products.
